Table Trees

 A unique and practical art form is designed and built by Wayne to display his trees. They are formed with an armature of welded steel which is molded further with copper wire and tin to create tree-like anatomy. Finished with resin and patina, sometimes it is clad with copper or aluminum sheeting in which the bark texture is embossed.

The tree roots are mounted into a rock base. The top is shaped from highly figured  slab wood, often with live edges to form the crown of the table tree.

The trees can be custom made, using the customer’s special environmental and thematic needs. A wide variety of stone and wood types are available.

Each table is a one of a kind, sensual pedestal with naturalistic expression.
